Horizon Fitness E52 is an improved version of E51. Both models are built on the same solid frame, however each model is equipped with a different set of features all the way from E51 to E54.
Horizon E52 Elliptical Trainer is a great starter-level elliptical machine to have in your home gym. It’s nice, solid and built out of sturdy parts. Horizon Fitness E52 is heavy (150 pounds), and it ads to stability and smooth operation, so it won’t rock back and forth as you exercise.
The Horizon Fitness E52 Elliptical Trainer comes with a generous 16” stride length and a 30” pedal arm length for a smooth and ergonomic stride. Additionally, the Horizon E52 offers 20 levels of resistance that will help you meet or exceed your workout goals. This elliptical incorporates 4 per-programmed personal trainer workout programs designed to meet the challenges of different user types with different workout goals. Horizon E52 features blue backlit LCD screen that will display the progress of your workout allowing you to easily monitor workout progress at a glance.

It’s no Precore, but considering the price, Horizon Fitness E52 Programmable Elliptical Trainer is probably one of the best values out there. Horizon E52 has got the features that really matter (quiet, smooth operation, 20 resistance levels, heart-rate monitor, calorie counter, etc.) and none of the gimmicks (like a fan or speakers). It takes about an hour to assemble, and it is built to perform well. If you’re looking for an elliptical in the under $600 range, you can’t go wrong with the Horizon Fitness E52 Programmable Elliptical Trainer.
