The Sole E25 Elliptical Trainer
Natural human movement, combined with a great exercise facility makes the latest generation of Sole E25 stand out amongst elliptical trainers within its price range. The manufacturers took the best features of their other models and combined them with newer features to make the Sole E25 Elliptical Trainer special.
The Power incline is a feature that makes the Sole E25 extra special as it creates a workout that targets areas of the lower body. Such a lower body workout will not be possible on an elliptical without the Power Incline.
Custom Designed Foot Pedals
A leading physical therapist and Sole engineers collaborated to design a unique set of foot pedals which have a 2 degree inward slope. These reduce the ankle and knee stress usually associated with other elliptical machines.
Articulating Foot Pedals
Realizing that everyone walks differently, the pedals of the Sole E25 Elliptical Trainer are articulated and also support reduction of numb toe effects and sore Achilles tendons. This special feature makes the user focus on goals rather than on any discomfort.
The frame of Sole Fitness E25 Elliptical Trainer is made of 38 mm steel and is designed to support up to 350 lbs of user weight.

COMPARE BY PRICE RANGE ==> COMPARE Best Performing Ellipticals By Price Range
The Sole E25 Elliptical trainer has an easy to use electronic console with a vibrant blue back lit LCD display. Included is a built-in cooling fan, water bottle holder, and built in speakers which facilitate use with any MP3 player.
The E25 provides fluid natural motion powered by a whisper quiet drive system. The Sole E25 functions in both forward and reverse motions.
The challenging work out that this machine provides, is achieved, with a feeling of extreme smoothness, but also with plenty of resistance, by a heavy 25 lb. flywheel and a high gear ratio, which are not found on comparable models.
The Sole Fitness E25 elliptical trainer includes a power incline feature providing additional resistance and variable positions for diversity in the workout. A press of a button will raise the incline ramp to the desired position.
The ramp angle is fully adjustable, and takes the incline from a level plane, up to all angles up to 30 degrees, allowing targeted work on all major lower body muscle groups. Together with the facilitated upper body exercise, the E25 Elliptical provides a total body workout.
The Sole E25 is equipped with stationary handle bars with built-in pulse sensors for monitoring heart rate and an optional heart rate chest strap is also available for wireless monitoring.
The unique oversize foot pedals were designed jointly by Sole engineers, physical therapist and sports enthusiasts and made for optimal comfort and performance.
4 real wheels on heavy duty rails offer a stable and smooth feel and also reduce side-to-side foot pedal motion, a positive feature that is usually seen on more expensive models.
The Word on the Street
The Sole E25 elliptical trainer is a low cost machine that is providing facilities that usually could be found only in higher-end trainers, therefore most of the users are happy with it. Here’s what some of its many happy users agree on:
- “The machine itself seems to be very well put together to handle my current 260lb weight with ease. All in all, for what is a budget elliptical machine, I am very happy with the construction and the value I have received in this purchase.” – Travelman Chris
- “We, my wife and I have been using the Sole now for a month with both of us exercising 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes. No noises at all, smooth and we are very happy that we chose the sole.” – Roland Hertert
- “It has a nice, smooth motion and is relatively quiet.”- M. Baumgartner
What You May Not Like About the Sole E25
- Assembling can be a little difficult
- The fan is not its best feature
- Heavy to move around
What You Will Like About the Sole Fitness E25
- Sturdy and super smooth
- Easy to change incline and resistance while working out
- User profiles are easy to set up
- Choice of programs – manual, hill, interval, cardio, fat burning, etc.
- Water bottle holder
- Speakers to which Mp3 player may be hooked up
Though the Sole E25 (latest generation model) is one of our top picks within its class, we know that some users reported about reliability issues right at the beginning. After our investigation it seems that all of these issues were caused by improper assembly, so if you decide to purchase this elliptical, make sure to carefully follow all the instructions.
The Sole Fitness E25 elliptical may be a bit heavy, and difficult to assemble, but its weight capacity of 350 lbs, the stride length of 20″ and the heavy weight flywheel that offers the much appreciated super smooth workout feeling, easily place this elliptical in our list of top performers.
The small things like the water bottle holder and the speakers will make your workout more comfortable and fun. The heart rate monitor and the power-incline controlled by buttons, both on the console and in the handles, make this trainer stand out as a good purchase, and therefore we’ve chosen it as one of our top picks within its price category.
